The James Webb Space Telescope is the world’s largest and most sophisticated orbiting telescope, capable of peering into the furthest reaches of space in unprecedented detail.
A US museum required a series of explainer panels for an exhibit about chromatic ordering, the process of transforming different wavelengths of infrared light detected by the telescope into wonderful images of stars and galaxies.
Working with Brandbook LLC, I researched pre-published documentation and videos to produce original explanatory writing to explain how the James Webb Space Telescope and its team uses chromatic ordering to produce photos. The writing was accessible to teenage school children.
